Will a double-layer Tablecloth hammock hold a 300+ lb guy?

    Hi all,
I am making a hammock for a friend of mine. He is a big guy, approx 350 lbs. I think it will hold, but I don't want him to drop in the middle of the night. Will he be safe?

    Thanks

Talked with randy at dream hammock about these... He has a picture with 520 pounds in a single layer:

I weigh less than that. I have made three SL this week and today one ripped, the others are fine and have been well used (wiggly thirteen year old, a dog and me in there)

Edited to add previous post that they were single layers. I hope it was a fluke, I did hold them up to the light before sewing..

A single layer will work. If it is a tablecloth from tableclothfactory.com it is likely 2.6oz/sq yd material.
I use one all the time. (And weigh near the same as your friend)

Failure, if it happens, would be caused by an imperfection in the fabric either from the factory or the result of abuse. (Abrasion, puncture, etc.)
    Have sherpas, will travel...
Triangles, it's all about the triangles.

Disappointed. I was expecting to see a big dude hanging in that.

We use a 90 X 152 dl from tablecloth factory. I'm 6'6" and 295 and wife is 5'5" and just right. Together we are more than your friend. No issues. He will love it. Pics attached. Quad knotty mods.

That would have been better, but I'll take it
