    Pictures!

Ok, so I know that you guys know what a Blackbird with MacCat Deluxe looks like. But you haven't seen mine yet!! Set up was a breeze, comfort was enough to make me want to turn my dayhike into an overnight (but that wasn't practical this time around). I can also report that my large NeoAir fits quite well, but is overly warm for mid-summer temps. Brandon and Brian each did a great job. I'm liking the mirror image build on the hammock a lot!

Here are a couple of pics.

What do you mean "mirror image build?"

Normally, the BB zipper is on the occupant's left side with the shelf by your head on the right and the footbox to the right side. a "mirror image build" is exactly the opposite...
footbox on left, shelf on left, zipper on right. "Why?" you may ask...

Well, I tend to be a right side sleeper and all my sleeping bags are right zip. For me, it seems better to have my zippers on the same side (right) and my right side sleeping position looking out the "exit" side of the hammock. Brandon was happy to accommodate the request. He says it's not common, but it was definitely not his first time to make it this way. (Thank you, Brandon!!)

Ah, now I understand. I remember some talk about "left-handed BB's" with the zipper on the right side. For a second, I thought you might have had him build you one with a footbox on both sides. I wonder if that is even doable.
