My BlackBird Dbl. 1.7 arrived today. Sleeping in it tonight, along with Storm Crow UQ and my Ray Way TQ. Should be toasty.

On a whim, checked in with USPS again today and the WBBB has left the US. It will be in the air right now.

Well, apparently it's cleared customs. Good to know it's not going to blow the top off Black Ash in 2 weeks.

(drumroll....) I just ordered a BronzeBird Dbl and MacCat Deluxe Tarp to keep it and me dry. My pack just lightened by nearly two pounds.

And the wait shall commence.

As a Noob, I had and still have many questions. During my most recent enlightenment, I started to second guess my hammock order to WB. And, after much soul searching and reading what seemed like a thousand posts, I changed my order from a Traveler to a WBBB 1.7 Dbl. I now declare myself a member of the "Tribe". But alas, the miserable decisions process begins all over again..... What tarp ….. What insulation .......... God, I'm too old for this.

Been looking at the WB website, studying all the HF posts, and thinking hard about a new hammock. I'm recovering from knee surgery, and Law Dawg says that a WBBB qualifies as physical & mental therapy. Sounds good to me. Ordered the 1.7 double layer on Wednesday 11/3. Brandon is making me a mirror image BB with the zipper on the right and foot box on the left, so it will take a few weeks. Can't wait !!!!!!
