ok this may be a dumb question but here it goes...
the cheap hammock i bought has cheap rope going threw the end of it and it stretches a lot so.... i want to replace it with some good stuff BUT (here is the dumb part) has anybody used a short (5-6 inch) long piece of wood or plastic tube to go threw the end of the hammock so it stays wider at the end and not bunch up so tight???? one reason was i was thinking it would make more head or foot room or a little more space to stuff a pack in... i dont want to make it like a "yard hammock" just a little wider, it was just a thought ....
