    Reuse trampoline

I keep seeing trampolines with torn beds or worn springs being sold cheaply or for free on craigslist. Has anyone tried to make a stand from one?

I did a search but didn't find anything. I'm thinking a 12' one with two halves of the frame connected with parts sawn from the legs...???

    Any ideas?

thank you, I didn't find that. I was thinking of using it in two halves though like an upside down crescent moon.

There is also a pic I couldn't find of a trampoline made into a floating teepee/tent on a large tripod.

I've hung my kids' DIY hammocks under our complete trampoline frequently with no problems, but it's a little too short for me, leaves me dragging on the ground. If you wanted to cut it up, I think you could do something like that Boonedox Drifter pretty easily. I've been wanting to make a tensegrity frame for a while, but my current situation won't really allow for it.

that was my figuring, plus I really don't want it taking up as much room as a trampoline
