Is the Hammock Gear Phoenix is it symmetrical (and if so how can I tell)?
I never gave it much thought but was watching some youtube videos and hear that they use a white and black S biner for head and foot end. I haven't been out in the cold so never really needed it so much, but now that I have the XLC WBBB it is a little more tricky to set up (self and pull out)...

Take a good look at your Phoenix. The foot end baffles are not as tall as the head end.
It's symmetrical on the vertical axis, but not really on the horizontal axis. I.e. there is definitely a head and foot end, but it's not a parallelogram (asymmetrical shape).
Oh, and if you bought it within the last few years, there should be a hammock gear tag on the quilt - the tag is on the outside, head end.

If there are s biners the green is the head. If it has dutch hooks, the white is the head end.
