    Nite Ize reflective cord

Anyone use it? Does it stretch?

Normally I use Kelty Triptease for my tarp tie outs, but I couldn't find any and this seemed to be the next best thing.

I use it and I have not noticed any stretching. Sure makes it easy to find the hammock after late night / early morning calls of nature!

It's good when there is a source of light to reflect off of it and i dont think it stretches much, it's made for guy lines and tent lines.
If your having trouble seeing your lines in the middle of the night then 1 trick i have done was i found some glow in the dark yellow para cord and pulled out the center and ran zing it thru the shell, light wieght and glows bright

I like my triptease for being reflective. Makes it eaiser for myself, and other campers, to stay safe around my campsite

Now that's a cool idea - I'll have to try that just for fun if nothing else.

It lights up like a runway, but it does not handle well.

I have a lot of this but only use it for random things. It does stretch, but not as bad as paracord. It's decent stuff, but I use the stuff below since it doesn't stretch at all and still reflects well:

    Yes, stupid expensive!

I have used it and +1 on it not handling well. The stuff tangles up in an instant. It is relective though and light weight. That is about all I can say for it. I baught some to try out. I probably would not buy it again.

I use it, but only for rainfly end lines, as smaller cord slips in my Nite-ize figure-9s. Other than that, it's way too heavy and bulky for side tie-outs, in my opinion. For those, I use much smaller cord. If reflective stuff, I use 1.8mm Sea-to-Summit or the 1.1 (I think it is) special order from Hong Kong. FireInMyBones has a thread about that stuff. Light-weight and strong enough.

Reading these comments, I might change course and go with some braided mason's line instead.
