hg 20 or hg 40 with 2oz overstuff???

Hey all I'm sorry if this has been already debated but i just can't decide what unerquilt to buy. This will be my first uq purchase and one thing i nod know is that my business will go to Hammock gear, seeing is that i am not lucky enough to score used on the forum So the question is should i go with a 20 degree or 40 with some over stuff to hopefully take me into the lower digits???? I don't camp a lot in the winter but i do enjoy the cooler months. Also, i am moving to salt lake city in a few weeks and I'm not 100% on the weather or seasons i will be hanging in. So with that being said...............HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!! Im a hanger in need!!!
Ive been a member for about two weeks so far and I'm really digging this place!!

    Thanks Seth

Get the 20 degree - it's the most versatile UQ you can buy. I've used mine from an overnight low of 75 degrees down to 13 degrees.

I would also advice the 20. Certainly if you want to camp the cooler months.
You can easily vent on the topside if it's getting too warm, adding insulation underneath if it's to cool is a pain I think.
My 5F UQ and 20F TQ where just about too hot when it was 65 or so at night. The rest of the year I'm very happy with this set 'cause it will fit all my needs except the really high temps. In future I'll keep using my UQ for that only change my TQ out with a cheap 50F sleeping bag(wich is a cheap $20 or so, it was €15).

For instance if you would have an April night as we experience them here you might get a slight frost and might be struggling to stay comfy with your 40 degree and be nice and toasty with a 20.
Only if the weight is very important you might consider an overstuffed 40 in my opinion. The difference between a 40 with 2 ounce overstuff and a 20 appears to be just over 3 ounces. Moneywise the difference is only about $10 wich is not worth bothering about in my opinion when you're spending these amounts.

I agree the 20 degree would be your best bet. Cooler weather hanging is great and it's better to err on the side of too much insulation for those times.

I know right!!!! That's why I love it though, so many personal variations. Must love finding, making, buying, selling, trading and keeping gear;-)
