Gear packed and a few things for the raffle. Counting down the days. Going to try and bring my dutch oven to try my hand at some campfire cobbler and some breakfast.
Guys - I am sorry to report this, but I am not going to be able to make it this year. Too many things going on with the family and we've got another camping trip scheduled for the following weekend. Hate I will not be able to attend the Louisiana hang AGAIN this year. My son has been practicing his archery skills (hit a plastic bottle cap at 20 yards) and he is itching to get in the deer stand this weekend for a shot at his first bow kill.
