    DIY Synthetic UQ options

I've seen the plans for the KAQ and Scott's plans on diygearsupply.com. Are there others to consider? I planning on 40 degree nights. I have a HH Explorer deluxe, side zip if it maters. Thanks!

Im just doing a couple climashield apex quilts simple inside out rectangle patterns. There is also an insultex underquilt tutorial in the stickies subforum that is pretty cool. Also if you just google search climashield underquilts you will find a ton of stuff. I snagged these off a thread I saw a few days back. Was helpful for me to visualize.uploadfromtaptalk1405284712505.jpguploadfromtaptalk1405284721469.jpg

I just made one of insultex and 1.1 ripstop. I should able to get down to 20 deg or less. I made mine with 5 layers of insultex. 3 layers would get you to 40 degs.
