For your HH Explorer Deluxe, it's PU coated (as stock). The Expedition Asym, Explorer Deluxe, Scout and both Desert models have the 1.9 oz PU coated tarps; all others come with silnylon versions.

Please some of you math guys double check me on this, but per the listed dimensions I'm getting around 4+ ozs per square yard fabric weight for this tarp. Seems a little heavy.
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.

This seems like a decent camo tarp despite the weight for the $$$. I can't seem to find a cheaper one that is cat cut along the ridgeline...

If you really want camo then go for it. For 1/2 the weight you can get the same thing in silnylon. But they do not make camo in silnylon.

This is my problem. I want a camo tarp so I guess I'm forced to buy one which is heavier than silnylon...

I want one too but I don't want to carry the extra pound.

Lack of demand from the big boys. Mainly the mills, who originally make silnylon mainly for parachutes, don't see a market for camo silnylon.
