COST - Last year we charged $10 a person to cover expenses, this year we will be doing a raffle to fund the event and cover cost of firewood/camping/group expenses. There will be some big ticket items in the raffle as well as room for those that would like to contribute to the raffle, please see Google Doc. Tickets will be 1 for $5 or 5 for $20 so come prepared to help fund the event and possibly win some great gear. To continue to have a successful event we need it to be self funding. Any funds in excess of the group costs of the event will be donated to the local NCT Chapter. The NCT passes through Yankee Springs Recreation Area, I believe pretty close to the Deep Lake Unit, if any would like to hike in.

We do have a really good brewery here in Indianapolis called Sun King, not sure if any of you have heard of it, those that have been to the Hoosier Hang the past couple yrs may have got to try some, I may be able to bring a few growlers of their Summer Cream Ale, never. Know, one May find it's way into the raffle.

most state parks don't allow alcohol. If you don't act like an donkey2.jpg you should be ok

I know we're still 3 weeks out but I'm putting together a shopping list. Are we going to have an over-abundance of eggs again this year or should I plan on buying the eggs I need for my recipes? I can't remember who brought all the eggs last year and if they've signed up yet.

well im in, i found a fellow Hoosier Hanger to ride along and split the Gas with me, hes new to hammocks and i think this will be his 1st official hang, should be a great weekend, looking forward to meeting everybody.

The roads are dirt, but pretty even. I drive in with my Cadillac.

that cool thanks, where we normally go down in the Charles Deam it's gravel roads and there's pot holes every where.
