Hello all,
Sorry it took me a while to post an intro.
I bought a hammock and such this spring primarily as a gear change for my regular BWCA trips.
I've been enjoying lightweight canoe tripping for the past 10 years due to inspiration from Ray Jardine.
After years of tarp shelter use- I'm looking forward to better bug protection without having to worry so much about tent site selection.
I've had 3 very pleasant nights hanging so far- one with heavy rain.
I enjoy making my own gear so this forum really has been a great asset to me.
