    Heyo from NC

Hey all. I'm fairly new to hanging, just started in the last year. My name is Ben and I'm from Raleigh, NC. I've done some hanging in the Appalachians around Boone, NC and around Blacksburg,VA where I went to college (Go Hokies!). Lately I've been hanging on my apartment balcony (not quite as nice as the mountain air). Thought I'd introduce myself and look forward to reading up on the tips and tricks of the DIYers on here.

Welcome from Florida! You have quite a large population of hangers in NC. Get to a group hang and meet some of those fine folks and they will show you what you can only read about on the forums.

Welcome from Garner. There are many local and dedicated hangers in the area. We should get a local hang set up in the future. The nearest to us is The Smoked Butt Hang at Falls Lake in the spring. It is one of the best, but don't I always say that after all the hangs. Also at time change in spring and fall is the Yates Place Hang. Not too far away. Most of the time I have a 6 to 8 hour drive to Western NC or North Ga. Stay alert to future hangs and come on out.
