Don't worry Zilla I'll be down at Dutchware headquarters this weekend. I'll sneak into the prototype vault and grab you the the gen 4 G clip. Maybe I'll even snap you a pic of the alien he keeps in there designing all his stuff.

Dutch, you should call the next version "elephant clips." Someone on here said they look like elephants; I'm too lazy to go search for who...but they really do look like elephants, ultra light elephants. I sewed my webbing to mine, so they work brilliantly!

And Zilla, I hope you find them. Theft just leaves such a bad taste in your mouth for a long time!

Wow, mang! That's some low-class, no-class schnitzel! Bad things happen to people like that. I seen it happen. Grillfriend's brother was out on the A.T., with his young son & daughter. Shared a shelter with a couple dudes, awoke walletless and a few packed items lighter. Still had the daughter's cell, and the call was made. Not being the type to call that the end of things, I loaded up the grillfriend, and we shot up to the nearest pickup point. We fed them, encouraged them, and then her brother and I headed out to the trail. We were on our third day hog hunting/pig stalking, when I saw it happen. Tee-hee! What a beautiful scene of retributive karma! No escapes and no exclusions! Persistence pays better than crime, I can promise you. We made the victory call, and were reunited with happy souls all around, that night. Happy ending to a sad story with a carppy beginning!

If this helps restore some faith in people it will be worth it. I long time ago I traveled by bicycle for a few months and pretty much had to trust people so often not to mess with my bike and all my worldly possessions. I never had anyone steal my stuff. I thank everyone for that because none of it could be replaced.

My problem isn't with other people, but myself. This last trip I left behind a nice lighter and a Leatherman Wave! =( Put it on a rock when we were changing out of our muddy clothes after caving in Peppersauce Cave near Oracle, AZ. When I gathered my stuff and hit the road I completely forgot to grab them. I almost went back, but we were already 1.5 hours down the road and I figured this would be a good excuse to upgrade to the Charge TTi. =)
