The finished length of an adjustable sling?

It will adjust from 16 inches at minimum, to 80 inches maximum. My main 'bury' is 12 inches, the tail end is backspliced 5 inches, and there is a fixed eye bury on the hammock end (didn't measure...it's pretty long).

That's exactly why I posted... I'm hoping to see more innovative mod ideas!

I know, I know. A poorly worded question. I am guilty of plenty of those.

    Thanks for the info AS!

Wouldn't a cool mod be to sew up the zipper and give it a bottom entry slit.

Actually you idea did give me the idea of adding a zipper to the pocket so you can put things in the shelf area and get them out from the outside.

I'm also thinking about removing the shelf and footbox, and moving the one tie out to right around the knee. I will also get a tarp that just barely fits it. Then it will be perfection.

Hmmm, that sounds familiar. Might have to worry about patents or something with that design.

I just got my BB about two weeks ago, the only thing I have done to mine is add Some Neon oarnge paracord zipper pulls. The other thing isnt really a mod, but Ilet the carabiner on the head end hang outof the bag and clip it to the drawstring. This way I always know which end is the head.

AS - I want to do the same thing on my BB. I have the adjustable slings made but I'm wondering about the best way to attach to the hammock. Did you replace the amsteel that originally came on the hammock, or tie a short loop in it and attach the whoopie sling to it? I can't tell exactly how Brandon tied the ends and I don't want to take it apart and not be able to get it back like it was.
