OK. I took the plunge and ordered the hammock with the netting.
this isn't good... I didn't own any hammocks last week and now I have two different hammocks on it's way to my house.

I bought 3 of these hammocks (without bug nets) last time they were up on woot. I modded them all with a ridgeline and whoopie sling suspensions as soon as I got them. I ended up selling one to a new-hammock-convert-friend at cost He loved it. They are a solid and comfortable single layer hammock and for the price you can't beat them. To make my own I come in at about $12 (table cloth single layer) plus labor to sew a channel. So for an extra $8 you have one ready to go with no hassle.
After I bought my 3 last time, I immediately wished I had a bought a few more as spare loaners to convert more friends. I also keep one in the car as a go to hammock for "opportunity hangs". So this time I decided to pick up a few more. And the rain flys / tarps look quite interesting as well. And for $20 a pop you can't go wrong. So I am in for 3 of those as well. We will see how they are.
I have a yukon double from this deal. I bought it a while ago. It's my go to hammock when I'm with my girlfriend, we hang together in it all the time. It is a bit on the short side, around 9.5 feet, but it is very wide. It weights a lil over a pound. Its a nice hammock for days at the park. I've added a continuous loop, as well as a ridgeline and whoopie slings to mine.
This is a great deal for any one.
I'd rather be hanging.
Your Hennessey tarp is asymmetrical to match the shape of your hammock. The Yukon is a rectangle so it isn't a replacement per se. Have you experimented with different ridgeline configurations on your HH? I've stayed dry in my Expedition in some serious downpours by a) using a separate ridgeline for the tarp rigged fairly low to the hammock and staked down fairly steeply b) adding "driplines" (string or the end of my suspension line) just inside the tarp coverage point on my main suspension c) hanging where there are fairly decent natural windblocks (a stand of pine trees, boulders, etc) and d) hanging perpendicular to the wind.
Having said all that, I just bought two of the Yukon tarps and one of the bugnet hammocks to augment the Yukon we have and slightly upgrade my son's hanging lifestyle.
Just went to site and the tarps are sold out. Bummer.
Not sold out.. i just purchased 2 of them...1 way i looked said sold out..then did it again, from another link to the item and it worked.
Create a Woot account and subscribe to the daily e-mail. I have seen where items re-appear periodically. Specifically the Yukon Outfitter hammocks show up about every 4 to 6 months. I've bought 6 hammocks over the past year. I use them as loaners to help others give hammocking a try.
I bought 3 tarps (limit) this morning before I jumped on the forum. I wanted to make sure I got my order in first. I'll pick up another 3 tarps when they are listed on Woot again.
