Woot Hammock

Spent last night in the rain in my Yukon double with Walkabout rainfly, first time sleeping in a hammock. A thunderstorm woke me up but I stayed nice and dry, plus I enjoyed the breeze. I changed the hammock suspension to Dutch's cinch buckles but left the fly as is. I think I have right under $100 invested, it weighs 1/2 as much as my tent, and I had one of the best night's sleep. I think it was well worth it. Consider me a former ground dweller.

I've only used my Yukon double in the yard for a couple naps, but like it so far. Hopefully be able to take it for an overnighter one of these weekends. Have you looked into a bug net at all for the double? That's my next adventure. I don't have a sewing machine, so I'll most likely be purchasing one.

Woot! (pun intended). Just got one also. Thanks for the heads up. Will pair it with the Yukon double I got a few weeks ago. Looks like my first system is almost complete.
