California Hangers, Hang Ten!

The camp hosts at Trapper are from my hometown.

The only potential problem with Big Sur/Ventana wilderness is the aftermath of the fire. They had the entire wilderness closed until the middle of this year. Tho it's open currently, it may be that the only places to hang are from burnt trees.... This may require an exploratory hike along whatever route we would choose prior to scheduling the hangout. Anyone been out in Ventana with their hammock recently?

If I am not laid off at the end of the month, I might could head out there to check myself.

well it looks like the so-cal hang is going to be october ish (maybe) so i would totally be down for an early november campout... maybe september

What happened to the central Cal hang? Did it loose interest? November ? or is it to late in the season?
