    No sewing bug sock idea

    Has anyone tried using the iron on adhesive to make a tubular bug net? My thought is the seem only needs so much strength and for the ends it would b easy to glue a rolled hem with a channel for some shock cord.
    I'm gonna give it a whirl tomorrow and Thursday.

    Hmm I wanna see how it goes
    Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

    Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

    If you already have everything this isn't helpful, but these don't require much other than throwing over the ridge line. There are ribbons that could be tied together to keep the two sides from blowing around. The football shape lends its self to becoming a hammock bug net. My current to do list includes turning one of these into a bottom entry.

    The bug net was a success. No photos in use. I did however stitch the channel for my drawstring. But everything else was done with glue.

    I like the idea... but you have to test it outdoors continuous for 365 days... then give us a wear and tear report... ...
    There was an Old Man with a owl,
    Who continued to bother and howl;
    He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
    Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl

    Agreed however I think for an overall cost of about 15$ a piece I can call it replaceable
