After a recent vacation in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, I have become infatuated with backpacking ever since. Im from the DFW area and go to school at Texas Tech. In the summer time its hard to backpack and camp around DFW due to the heat. Next summer i want to go on the Yosemite High Country expedition that REI offers. Along with backpacking, becoming a full time hanger has be quite an interest of mine as of late. I still am not completely sure on what direction I want to go for the hammock stand i want to build. Looking forward to learning a lot from the site, i already have as of late.
