For the love of God! not the weekend of the 17th! Lol. Seriously please don't do the 17th. I have a prior commitment that can't be moved and I have been looking forward to this all year. The weekends of the 24th and 31st I could do. I can't wait to see everyone again and enjoy some libations!

Well my vacation is locked in. The wife and I will be in the CVII October 31st.
Approx. how many people attend the hang? I was thinking about some sort of drawing where attendees put in a hammock/camping related item ($10 or less?) and we draw numbers for an exchange or something like that. Has that been done before? Just thought it might be a fun thing to do. Thoughts/interests?
We usually have a "free" Saturday evening gear raffle, that has been run beautifully the last couple outtings. Very entertaining!
Probably still a little too early for someone to step up and take the reins on this one, but those that have done so in the past, have done such a great job organizing part or mostly the entire thang, I'd like one or two of them to check in here, just to see if they are willing to offer their time and effort once again. After that things usually get rolling pretty well, once enough people start showing up here in posts, to get hard dates, location(s), and an attendant sign up list, of when and where everyone is showing up.

I'm in, but Last 3 weekends in Oct I'll likely have miss Friday night. Any chance of pushing out to November 8th?

Ok, someone needs to take the reins on the date... There are 4 different weekends being proposed now... Those of us with several jobs need to coordinate and request time off ASAP. The fourth quarter is the absolute busiest in the medical field and my wife had to request the weekend of the 31st off 2 months ago... Hopefully she can get that changed since it sounds like that won't be the weekend. I would like to propose the weekend of October 25th. That way those with trick or treater's can have no worries about missing time with their families and we are not getting out into November. Is there any way someone more technically savvy than I can post a poll on the forums? If so we could take a poll and figure out what date works best for the majority. Looks like the dates proposed so far are: Oct 17th, Oct 25th, Oct 31st, and Nov 8th. Hopefully my wife can still get time off. If not, we may just make our hang on Halloween weekend as we originally planned. Lets get the date nailed down! I look forward to seeing everyone there!!!

I suggest that the person who started this thread or someone start a new thread so there can be a pole taken. Let the group decide. I suggest putting in the pole also whether or not to keep it at the same place.
