Greetings from the Garden State! (but north of Asbury Park)

Hello! I'm rather new to hammock backpacking, and relatively inexperienced at backpacking, period. Here is my current setup (actually, it's my wife's - I'm debugging her setup first).

HH Hyperlite and rainfly with HG Phoenix UQ.jpg

HH Hyperlight with standard HH rainfly, and HG Phoenix 20* UQ. (There's an MLD Spirit 38* TQ inside the hammock.)

There's a strong chance of a thunderstorm later today, so we may see just how dry things stay!

Thanks! Yes, indeed. And the HH tensioners worked just fine to keep the rainfly tight! No sign of moisture on the UQ, all dry inside.

njredneck, how cold do you go with the HH Supershelter? I tested it for a couple of nights we had during a cold spell back in April, and it just didn't seem to work for me.

Welcome from Bordentown, though previously Howell! Tons of hangers around here from Jersey. I had the pleasure of meeting a few and they are rocking folks. Look out for local hangs in the Pines or at Del Water Gap and join in!
