Found this site surfing watched a few videos by Shrug and decided it must be a fun site where I could learn a lot. At 64 I am not new to much but I am currently going to purchase a light weight Hammock and tarp. I have an idea of what I want but thought I would throw this out for other ideas.

At 60, I'm a bit younger, but still the same boat! I just ordered a Dream Hammock (made in Ohio!) and am awaiting delivery and looking forward to my first hang. Maybe we'll get a chance to "hang-out" some time.
