Great! I say "morning", but noonish is probably more accurate.

And, yes, Floridahanger, I do still intend on covering basic bike touring. Hrm...need to take a look at the scheduled events and pick a good time... Thanks for reminding me!

Does anyone have a portable PA system they could bring?
We're going to be ~200 people inside for the raffle and the ability to be LOUD & CLEAR would be helpful.

Hey! With a microphone we could have a karaoke night!! (I can't see singing into a bull horn.)

    Some DO's:

    1. DO Stop at the lodge and sign in before you head out to your hang site. This is very important.

    2. DO bring either a gallon size (tea or lemonade) or (2) 2 liter drinks to share with the community. You may also opt to bring instead hot cocoa or cider mix, or tea bags.

    3. DO have meals to share ready to serve at mealtimes if you are planning to share a meal with the community.

    4. DO relax, have fun and enjoy the company!

One more absolute DO that we must insist on.

    Do leash your dogs.

No one loves dogs more than me and mine are well trained. But they'll be on a leash or in a kennel the entire time. We are just too many people to have any dogs loose - even if they are right at your side.
Also, we had two non-stray Pits wander into the campsite last weekend. They were aggressive and not friendly. We were able to run them off but the whole situation got too close to being terminal.
And it's still hunting season so hunting dogs will probably come running through. They don't usually make trouble but there's still too many ways that things could go badly.
Finally, we want the Doe Lake people to like us and there's a host on site so we have to follow the rules ( mostly ).
Thank you dog people, for your consideration on this.

    Timberrr,
I've got you covered on the sound system. It's small but pretty powerful. I'll bring the system, one mic and a mic stand. Could you send me a message with your phone number? I need to talk with you about a couple of things. Thanks.

Thanks Guitarman, that will make presentations like Sandra Friend and John Keatly's much easier to hear.
