Hi all,
First I want to thank this great community both for the support I have received, and all I have learned about hammocking. I am definitely a hammocker for life
I have been dealing with bouts of carpal tunnel syndrome after prolonged knitting; this year has been worse than before. Sewing is not affecting my hands at all, but the repetitive motion of knitting is taking its toll.
For the forseable future, I would like to put my hat making on hold. I don't mind inquiries and might be able to make some here and there, but not in an official capacity.
My sewing will continue as usual and I am working on a couple new products.
I hope you all understand; my day job is landscaping/gardening and I need my hands for that as well. I love knitting very much and want to continue making things for family , at a much slower pace, and hopefully some special hats for customers again.
Life has been busy and I have not spent much time on this forum as of late, but that does not mean I have forgotten that it is because of you that I have this wonderful little business that allows me to live in a little dream cabin in the woods.
Those that have seen past posts of mine know that one of my joys is setting trail cameras around the mountain I live on, to see and track the wildlife . It's been busy around lately; six different mountain lions have come by, many more bobcats and foxes and deer.
