I can't even get a good night's sleep in my king size bed with memory foam!
I don't think I ever slept more than 45min straight in my tent before waking-up and trying to find a more comfortable position. I've tried more than 10 different pads or combination of pads. Nothing I've done has come close to the comfort of a hammock. I placed a hammock stand in the master bedroom and I now sleep in a hammock every night (I got a wonderful/understanding wife!). To think that I might be able to sleep as well when backpacking as I do at home is my hope. I'll find out this weekend.
