I suppose we should set up a spreadsheet for this hang for everyone to get to so we can keep everything straight. Can someone help me on this? I'm a good Excel spreadsheet kind of guy but would be useless linking it to the forum or whatever the hooey I would need to do to get it done.

Darn, this falls on the same weekend of our Webelos fall campout. Please make sure to post some pictures and trip reports so I can see what I've missed!

This is my first group hang but I am willing to pitch in however I can. I don't know that I would be much of an outdoor cook. (We normally eat dehydrated meals when we backpack.) But I would be willing to pitch in and contribute money to anyone interested in cooking. Plus, I have a small amount of firewood I could bring. Just let me know.

Nice area to hike. I believe the Richardson trail is about 12 miles and enjoyable. Will watch your thread and let you know if I can make it.

I just got back from a hike there. Saw two very large deer (not together), a couple of non-venemous snakes, and hundreds of banana spiders and funnel weavers. Every 10 minutes I was going around a massive web, or tossing pringles into one to see if the spider was hungry, or pulling spider silk off of my face and out of my mouth (sorry little guys, didn't see your house there). I did the entire Tally's Creek Trail, which is "closed". Oops. There's nothing physically blocking someone from hiking it, and I didn't realize it was closed until I was done! It's 10.8 miles. The Richardson creek is also 10 miles. Tally's Creek is in great shape; only one or two spots where a tree is blocking the path, and not flooded.

I arrived at 10am, and there was literally no one in the entire place.

As it turns out, I calculated the wrong dates for the time I am Mississippi. Our family get together is the 2nd Saturday of November, which this year is on the 8th of November.

I am still hopeful we can extend our trip and make this hang, but I need to move us from the 'definite' to the 'maybe' column.

I was hesitant to say anything but it would help me personally to have the date the prior weekend as well. I certainly wouldn't ask for the whole hang to be moved just for me, but I'll at least put it out there.

Would it be possible to move the hang up one week? November 7 - 9.

As always, it depends on if I end up on call that weekend or not. I think one of our guys is away around that time, so I'm not sure yet.
Change the date if you need to--I'll try to work it out because I really want to make it.

If this moves, it will most likely become a one nighter for me. We have a guy already taking that Friday off, and I'm up to fill in. Unless we shut down early, Saturday will be the only night I can make it for.
