Yeah, I'm in the flattest city in the **** country. That's probably why I want to climb a mountain or something. I'm not married, so I don't have anyone to tell me "no", so where can I go to find something like this:

Or a plane ticket from New Orleans to Denver is only $220. Just go west from Denver to the mountains. You could have a very affordable vacation.

The closest scenic views i have found are at Kisatchie National Forest up near Alexandria. Let me know if you find anything nicer. There are supposedly some good spots in south Arkansas, but I am not too familiar with that territory myself.
Pinhoti Trail, Northern AL - Cheaha.
Not the highest, but it's nice and it's close.
I want to visit there soon. How's the weather around thanksgiving. I would think that would be a great time.
