I just happened to run across this as I was looking for a campground close to Cumberland Island... apologies if this is discussed elsewhere, but its the first time I've seen this kind of language used to directly address hammock camping on a government site...
Hammock camping is permitted on campsites #36, 37, 41, 57 in the River Campground as well as Youth Camping areas 1-4. Hammock campers must use a 2-inch wide minimum flat web strap to attach hammocks and all other associated lines to trees which are a minimum of 12 inches thick.
This is from the Fort Clinch State Park in Florida at this link...

While I'm not excited about the 2" strap limitation and using relatively large trees, I'm ecstatic to see a campground directly address the issue of hammock camping. Makes it better for everyone to know exactly what the rules are, with no phantom rule against hammocks as has often been the case.
I'd be curious to know what other parks are using, if anything, for hammock camping rules?
