Toxaway and Shangri-La Tarp Colors

I'm looking at grabbing one of these two tarps (to go with the new Jarbidge I'm gonna order!) and had a quick question about the colors. I keep seeing "stealth green" and "stealth brown" in reviews and pics on HF and around the internet but the green and brown options on the site look a little brighter/lighter than the pics I am seeing. Am I missing something or was there a different green/brown in the past. More olive, darker, etc... ???

The colors have been the same for years with only the slightest variation in dye lots from one batch to another. The variable that I think you're seeing is that both colors (green and brown) are both very sensitive to the lighting. If its overcast they look one way, bright sun and they look another, mix of shade and you get another shade all together. For the small color reference photos in the store the pictures were taken with 1 layer of fabric layer out on the cutting table (white surface) with a door open but not direct sun light. Compare that with any of the photos out in full sun and it does look a little different but thats part of the cool thing about those fabrics...they are very unique in tone and how they look in different lighting.

That's kind of what I figured. Some of the outdoor pics are of the same tarps from different angles and look very different based on the lighting/angle.

They all look great and I'll be glad to get one on the way here in a bit!
