I did the Current River section of the OT last year around Thanksgiving. It was a nice trail, not as nice as the SHT.gush

I'm a possible for this trip. I have the Superior Hiking Trail book. I'll have to start reading it again and look over Mr. Green's suggested areas.
I have not hiked that section yet. I wouldn't mind hitting the Bell Mountain/Middle Fork in November. We could have some of the fall colors left and a slim chance of one of Missouri's' crazy Indian Summer spells. I'm picking up a pt job every other weekend, but if it comes down to it I will just quit the pt job. Would love to do some hiking with you guys again and on the SHT to boot!
