    tie outs

How do you rig your tie outs on your BB?

I got my BB on Sat. and since I am leaving for Canada in the next day or so, I have been trying to get it all set up.

How do you rig the tie outs?

Do you just let the cord lock come up against the little ring?

    Thanks
    John

Exactly. That is how you can adjust the tension on the pullouts. Stake out the looped end, and use the cordlock to adjust tension.

I also use my tie outs to center the hammock if it is off center with the tarp ridge.

I have also (not on purpose) used the tie outs as tent stake launchers.

    Very happy groundhogs are red.

You do not have to use hardware, you can use the taut-line hitch, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jkN3K5G8eE , it basically does what the hardware does without the weight.

I agree with the statement about the taut-line hitch, you are almost there with the buntline hitch anyways, so you get to learn two knots for the price of one and I find the cordlock slip pressure is quite variable.
