There's a good possibility I'll be able to make it friday night I'm working in Whitby Saturday so I'm just working out the details and such.

If I do make it I'll be solo in a kayak

Hey folks,

I'm very happy to see that it looks like we'll definitely need that second site permit. Has anyone booked yet?

As far as the group meal goes for Friday night (beef bourguignon) and Saturday night (EGL chowder), I'll be happy to take care of the shopping. What worked well last time was for everyone to carry in their own portions of potatoes, lightening the load in the main bag. Extras like garlic bread, salad and perhaps even dessert would be welcomed. Keep any receipts and we'll settle the bill in camp (bring small change).

I'm just back from 2 1/2 weeks in BC with little to no access to the internet....lesson learned, NEVER leave home without my own laptop (I was offered the shared use of one...yeah, okay...sigh).

I can handle one of the bookings for Thursday through Saturday if you want...just say the word.

Apparently, Kevin Callan is a happy hammock hanger now. I invited him to the EGL hang but I haven't, as yet, heard back.

I'm going to book my canoe today. It looks like Boot and Entropy are looking for bow seats. Iguana, do you have room in your boat for one or are you coming in solo?

"The Word" Seriously though, for the two of you booking the sites for the whole weekend, if you can PM the group with the permit info that would be helpful. That way if there are any strays, they have all the info they need.

Well, Kevin's an odd duck, so I suspect he'd make a good hanger. It's be nice to see him again; the last time I saw him was at an outdoors show years ago and I liked him quite a bit. His recent videos aren't bad either.

Excellent. If we could think about pairing up, that'd be great. Thursday looks like a pretty straightforward matchup, but Friday seems to have a lot of solo's and sterns and a complete absence of wayward bowsmen. I'd prefer solo if that helps at all.
