The August short notice hang shall commence at Marathon Lake in Bienville NF on the 16-17. While most of my hangs are for family, this is more a guys night on the lake. Be prepared for rain, thunderstorms expected. I'm not planning on cooking, this is a loggers lunch keep it easy deal. Sandwiches, Vienna sausages, whatever is simple. I'm due for a stress free weekend trip, just hanging out drowning some bait and telling tall tales. You're welcome to come along.

I wish I could go, but the kids are back in school this week and I don't think the wife would let me make the trip. I'd love to see some pictures of this location.

That sounds like you will have a great time and I would love to go, but I am still working on the mosquito netting for my new rig. That area backs up to my absolute favorite turkey hunting WMA in the state.

Rain chances have diminished to almost nil. Light breeze through the day, just enough to keep it comfy. Best of luck on the bug net southernexposure, definitely need one around here.
