Hi to the Adirondackers! I'm in the Capital Region myself, and for various reasons I go to the Catskills more than the ADK's. But I've been wanting to do the NPT for some time and it looks as if in October (starting southbound on or around the 7th) I might get the chance. I'll be a ground dweller for that trip. I'm not even started with hammock hanging, and certainly won't trust my skills for a long trip by then. I'm slow, so I'm figuring on maybe a 15-day trip (including two zeroes). If anyone's interested in hooking up for a section, give a halloa!
