Missed opportunity, the one tree hang.

Visited this tree a couple of weeks back, but didn't have a hammock with me to hang. It may look like 2 trees, but has recently been proven to be 2 parts of the same 5000+ year old Yew tree. It would need some monster tree straps.

(I wouldn't actually hang from such a venerable old beauty, but one can dream)

Looks like a peaceful place to hang the hammock.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

that is definitely a beautiful tree to hang from, if it was only 2 separate trees.

It doesn't need to be - it's split into two halfs, the trunk on the left is about 20' across, the one on the right 40'. The gap in the middle (behind the shrub that you can see in front of the tree) is wide enough to hang from.

I'm sure you can rest-in-peace there. I'll bet people are dying to hang there...forever!
