    Alpine Dad,

I'll let Comrade Hillbilly speak for himself. When I do it, I use the same tree for the footend of both hammocks and then find two separate trees for the head end that are as close to equally apart from the foot end as possible, but close enough together on the head end to stay under my Superfly tarp or Hennessy Hex. Picture a triangle with both foot ends suspended form the same point on the triangle and the head ends on the opposing ends.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. May be other ways but that's the way that works for me.

    All the best !

I don't know your neck of the woods, but I like how you enjoy and share it. I could certainly see myself heading into the woods there, and thanks for sharing!
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Good to see you guys out and enjoying the woods, and not many bugs.
    Thanks for sharing the adventure

But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting,

One tree at the foot end and two trees at head spaced evenly from the foot end tree. A decent size tarp helps also Although I must admit sometimes you just have to deal with being a little snug. But one can hardly complain when your wife is ready and willing to go running off into the woods with ya and not complain about it the whole time

Gosh that looks lovely. I miss the flatter hiking trals. Living on the West Coast everything is so rocky and vertical. I miss hiking in Northern Ontario...that said, it looks amazing. I remember some beautiful hikes on the North shore of Lake Superior with stunning views.

For reference, those 'raspberries' are called Thimble Berries. My wife calls them jamberries because they remind her of jam. That or because she loves them and her nickname is Jam...

Great video, love the report so far!
