It's a beautiful area. I've only seen a couple of miles of trail there, but it's more typical of the greener West Virginia forests than the dryer ridges to the east. Use the directions in the Hiking Upward link that Xtrekker posted above. It's described as being in the "Laurel Fork Wilderness" in GWNF, but a Google search for Laurel Fork Wilderness only brings up Laurel Fork North and Laurel Fork South wilderness areas just over the border in the Monongahela National Forest. This is a newer wilderness designation and apparently lesser known. I'd love to join you on this hike. Will be watching for dates (calendar is already crowded).
