I'm going car camping to a place without enough trees sunday morn. Need to build an easy hammock stand that will break down to fit in my car and be able to use my superfly tarp. Have looked at many designs, but don't know which one will work best. Liked the look of the pipe stand and it seems easy, but will it work with my tarp?

By adjusting the spacing between the two towers, any length of RL can be accommodated. Works great, breaks down nicely, and assembles easily.
