    New Reflective Cord

I just added Lawson Reflective Cord to the site. http://dutchwaregear.com/lawson-reflective-cord.html

Never trip over your tent/tarp guyline again when you use our highly reflective Midnight Black Glowire. The Glowire is 3/32" (2.38mm) in diameter and is made from a Hybrid Blend of Nylon, Polyester, and Dyneema for high strength, low stretch, and the ability for the core to melt into the jacket. The glowire cord has two 3M Reflective tracers so when you hit it with a light, it will shine right back at you. Just like a road sign. The cord has a break strength of 225lbs and is suitable for all sorts of backcountry applications including tent/tarp guy lines, ridge lines, bear bagging and anything else you can can think of. Sold in 25 foot increments and will ship up to 100 feet uncut, weighs 8 oz per 50'. Made in the USA.

    Comes in Black and Orange

Does anyone know if this cord stretches even a little, like the green Nite Ize reflective cord? I would like that stuff but it stretches a little too much for me. I would prefer no stretch, so if it does I'll just go with zing-it. Thanks!

This has no stretch. I think it is spectra. I liken it to no tangle with stiffness. I have looked for a long time and this is the best reflective line available. Not only in its characteristics but also I find the others loose their reflective properties and the reflective part breaks easily.

Thanks Dutch! 25' should just barely be enough. Just placed an order for some of this and a few other things to rig up my Superfly tarp.

    Is this splice-able ala lash-it/zing-it?
