Time to quit messin' around and just announce the date of this hang. It's a little earlier than I would have liked, but the camp might be full of hunters if we have it any later. Same place as the Spring Hang: Wolfpen Hunter's Camp, just across Cranal Road from the SWA.

That's really close to the Putnam County hang, but I will keep this one in mind. Would really like to try and make this one as well.

Sorry about that, I was looking forward to meeting y'all. Maybe you can make the spring hang. I think we'll do it in early April again.

I've got a Carto-Craft Maps, Inc map of Sipsey Wildnerness for free if anyone wants it. Just take care of the shipping. I'm thinning out some gear and thought it could find a good home for someone going to this hang! Just PM me if anyone is interested.

After some serious talking with the bride, I may have (probably will) bow out - or just show up for a day hike - especially If I can talk her into going as well. I'll be traveling next week, home for a week, gone for two weeks (6-20 Sept), and have a guys overnight trip planned for the 27/28 of Sept on the Buffalo river. I'm not sure my marriage could survive another weekend of my absence so soon.....

I will be watching and may stop by and/or go on a hike, but I probably should sleep in my own bed that weekend...

Yeah, you're right about that. That's too much time away from home. I hope you can bring her along for a dayhike. I'm thinking we can carpool around to Thompson TH and take the shortcut hike to Big Tree.
