    what temp rating?

just got in to hanging this past spring with my son and boy scouts.
    AND WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!

our new HH will be in this week and am wanting to get UQ for us both. I have been to Hammock Gears shop and Adam has a great product. but with limited funds will only be getting one UQ to use.

I'm thinking that a 20* would be the best for us and the most bang for our buck.

Any info and help with pros and cons would be great.

If it were me, id go with as low temp rating as you can afford. as others will agree im sure, the underquilt will not heat you up even when temps get well above the rating of it. think of sleeping in your bed, you don't switch matresses depending on weather, top cover will be a lot diff though

I think a 20* under quilt is a good for a large variety of temps. What is the lowest temps that you think you will hang in?

I agree. You can always vent it for warmer conditions. I use a 0* Winter Yeti in all temps up to 70*.

I have both a Warbonnet full length Lynx in the 20 degrees and then the 0 degrees. I am a cold sleeper to say the least. I used the 0 degree this past weekend up in the mountains where it got down to 23 degrees. I have slept with it a few times down to 0 degrees. I was just thinking this past time when I was hanging it back up that with me there really isn't much need to have anything besides the 0 degree. I just can't imagine that I can get to warm from underneath. It is the top layer that I use to adjust my temperature. I would say get the lowest one you can afford and you can't go wrong. Just my 2 cents.

talked with Adam on phone twice this week with questions about my upcoming purchase. he confirmed that I should go with 0 degree and standard length for my son and I both. will be learning to vent it in warmer weather and carry less than before to stay warmer.
so no more days off work for me until after thanksgiving so I can pay for them and get before Christmas.
but am glad I know just what to order now with no looking back.
