New bird species in the Chattahoochee with pics

Finally got to take my new Thunderbird out for the weekend in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Best sleep I've ever had. Woke up about 7:00 am and couldn't make myself get up, dozed back off and woke up again at 8:30 am laying on my stomach. I must have rolled over in my sleep since I'm naturally a stomach sleeper. Never thought I'd be able to lay completely flat and comfortable on my stomach but with this hammock I absolutely can. Can't believe how much difference there is between this and my Eno DN. Even the fabric has a more comfortable feel. I freaking love my new Thunderbird.

Thank you Smurfs for a fantastic product. I couldn't ask for any more than what ya'll put into this. True work of art.

The Eno in the picture is my buddy RheaP. He will soon be hanging in his Thunderbird as well, ordered last week. We usually try to camp at least one night per weekend. When cooler temps come I'm sure it will change to two-nighters.

Really nice looking setup you got there. A DH from the Smurfs is on my list. Enjoy!! Oh, do you use any sort of pillow? I seem to need one for neck/side support. All I have now is a small synthetic slumberjack from the ole' ground days. Looking at upgrading one day.

With the Eno I used a small camp pillow, I actually felt better without it though in the DH. It was my first outing though so I guess I'll wait and see, for now I'll carry it just in case.

I didnt actually witness the stomach thing but if he says it happened then so be it. I tried it in his TB and just couldn't pull it off with out bending my back in the wrong direction. I am a little heavier and taller than he is though. Has me rethinking my fabric choices seeing that I ordered the same fabric weights as he did. I loved the time I did spend in it on my back. Way more comfortable than my EDN
