I know the feeling. I'm in Columbia.

I was looking earlier at underquilts and had a hard time thinking about cold weather with the temps outside.

Oh man Columbia is much worse, I feel for you. Yea you probably won't see a winter temperature until late October
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Grass is greener. I dream about hot weather beach hammocking whenever I brace for winds howling through a valley 10 seconds off, closing in on me, finally cutting through my UQ, hammock, my soul and back out. It's better now, but early hammocking had some rough nights.

I understand, I would like a happy medium. I would prefer a bit colder winters and bit less warm summers

I second the request for cooler summers. It gets hot hot hot in Columbia and it is almost unbearable for 3 months out of the year.

At least in cold weather you have options to help keep you warm. You can only take off so many clothes when it gets hot. 🔥
