    Interesting that the majority in the poll have chosen "head right".

    Like I said in the first post I had been seeing quite a few pictures of people sleeping "opposite" of the way I do it - so I was curious... then learning that the BB is built "backwards" (in my opinion) I started wondering if maybe I was the confused one

    I thought maybe hand dominance had something to do with it - but in the sense of going towards that side, being that I am right handed and tend towards to "head right lay"... that would be an interesting aspect to look at.

    Thanks everyone so far for the input!

    Ditto, except in Minnesota the Mosquitos will drain you without a net or two so I put up with it to survive.

    I'm a head-left/feet-right sleeper. Come to think of it, I've never tried the other way. Time for some research.

    Didn't matter much until i got my xlc, now it's mostly head left and feet right because that's the way it's made, might have asked brandon to reverse it when i ordered it if i had thought of it but i sleep just fine in it so it's ok...
    My next hammock will be custom head right and feet left though..

    Diagonal head left: feet right. Head centre to left facing. Glad to see you sporting your kilt by the way!

    Like others I am straight down the middle with my ridgerunner. However when I was looking at gathered end asym hammocks and imagining what it would be like, the only position in my mind that seemed to work was the head right, feet left. Head left feet right just sounds weird.

    Thanks!

    =============

    We're moving a lot closer to an even split on the right vs left now... very interesting.
