    a big thanks Too "Shug"

I took intrests in hammocks and watch Shug videos felt it worth while to give it a try. I researched many styles and brands. Being a diy guy at heart wanted to try my hand at a hammock tarp setup. Here's what I profuced. A 1.9 oz diamond ripstop nylon hammock and a 10x10 silnylon tarp with reinforced tieouts. 7/64 amstell blue whoopie slings I made myself. Corners of tarp were cut from a military bdu jacket and sewn in. Hammock has a sewn channel in ends with 7\64 amsteel running through it.20140804_171020.jpg 20140804_172634.jpg 20140731_154529.jpg

sorry about the odd turned pictures. Can't figure it out.

I like how you customized the look of your tarp. Looks like you got the DIY bug ... I think the only way to cure it is more DIY. Keep it up!

Well done Eliska. Looks like a DIY Bug net will be on your short list. What about insulation?

Great looking set up. Nice to be able to produce your own gear to fit your needs.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!
