    There can be a down side to pullouts if you hang in heavy snow.

    To add to what OutandBack said, comfort is the number one reason people love hammock camping. All other considerations are a bonus to me but being able to sleep a full night comfortably out in the woods is just awesome. On the ground I never have that.
