nah, even I don't sleep in a hammock everytime I'm in the woods. That's like coming up to a nice spot and seeing a sign saying tents only.

The last thing we need are more rules and regulations and fees for enjoying the wilderness....

5*4356 square feet per acre gives you a total of 217800 square feet or 466.7 feet per side assuming a perfect grid

    466.7 / 15 gives you 31 trees per row and 31 rows

All trees but the outer edgs would have 4 hammocks tied to them

    So (31*31) - ((31*4)-4)

So 31*31 is a total of 961 trees
To deduce the outer rows we multiple 31*4 giving us 124 and if I'm not mistaken we need to deduct 4 so we don't count the corners twice giving us 120

    961 -120 gives us 841
ignoring the hammocks connected to the inner trees which we've already caluclated above, the outer trees each get two hammocks a piece
That’s 240 more though we might need to deduct 4 again for the corners.

That would be a total of 1077 very crowded and unhappy campers.
Those in the center who need to get out to use the bathroom now have to walk a minimum of 233 feet ducking at least 30 suspensions assuming they walk a straight line.

Your math skills are impressive! Id say use 30% of that and it would be lots of people still just not as crowded which is still 323 people but it could be enjoyed. Now the odds of having that many people except for special events would probably not be reached.

Private campground owners learn quickly how to transform large fortunes into much smaller ones. I am only joking LOL.

I know several people who own large ranches and other river and creek side property that very selectively allow people to camp there by whatever means. One of the biggest concerns is flash flooding, and liability issues like that. I try to pick up all my trash and not even leave any trace of a campfire. But to bring "certain friends" can causes problems. Just my personal experience.

Hmmm... radiant heat floor to hang over. Adjustable straps on posts/trees to clip to. Rolling pull-down awnings on 3 sides to block wind and provide privacy. Roof of course. Not too close to others, but I would understand if this was an all under one roof sort of thing and would accept some compromise there. Convenience store. Rentable UQs and pads. Just bike there with hammock and TQ. Yeah, I'd pay for that.

Just buy yourself a couple acres in a nice place, add any amenities that suit you, put up the no trespass signs, and enjoy a great hang, no crowd, and no nosy rangers. You would of course have to deal with the tax collector each year.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

Check out "star plate" buildings...This could be an interesting way to setup spots...Seems quite a few of those would fit on 5 acres..
You don't HAVE TO be crazy to be here - But I assure you it will help.....
