I picked up a 20° burrow in trade a week , and I've simply been keeping it stored in a King sized pillow case, to protect it from dust, etc.
I really don't have a place to be able to hang it or lay it out.. will the pillowcase be fine?

I bigger bag would be better if that's possible. I bought a sleepping bag storage bag years ago (before I knew how to sew) and it is much bigger than any pillow case I've seen. Try a big storage bin, that way other bins or stuff can be put on top if space is limited. I've used both the rectangular box and the long under the bed kind before.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
I use these and hang them from the ceiling in my bedroom walk-in closet. http://www.dollartree.com/The-Home-S...3773/index.pro
I use laundry bags for all of my down quilts and sleeping bags.
You need a good barn with a paddock and lots of hay---
Oh, wait
You said "burrow" not burro.
My bad.
Carry on.

I store mine on an unused sofa in the attic, but I'll probably move it to the now unused bed in my room. You could also try the storage bins that roll under the bed. I think MEC (and by extension, REI) sells giant mesh duffle bags, but you could probably get them much cheaper elsewhere.
For the most part i keep my quilts uncompressed in a large 30 gal rubbermaid, i can get 1 tq and 1 uq per tote, they are loose and fully fluffed this way and i can stack tote after tote on top of each other.
Afew weeks before a hang i pull them out and hang them just to let them air, if i plan on hangs that are closer together then i just leave them hang.
Now that i have winter quilts and 3 season quilts,i just alternate them.
Somewhat snug in a plastic bin as mentioned or your big pillowcase I think would be fine. This is one of those things we overthink and treat down like a carton of dynomite. Not as fragile as we always make it sound.
And when I say a king sized pillow case.. i mean a 22" wide 39" long (by my measurements, screw the package) Pillow case.. it is the size of a small laundry bag
